The first is via Great Central Lake and the Drinkwater Valley to Della Lake, and the other is via Bedwell Lake, over Big Interior Mountain and across to Nine Peaks. Both routes usually take three to four days and it is best to climb the peak before the middle of August when moats on the glacier become impassable.

Following the standard route up to Big Interior Mountain continue toward Nine Peaks by descending the southwest ridge of Big Interior to a col with Marjorie's Load. Descend off the ridge crest and traverse the east facing slope on talus or seasonal snow making a long descending line down to Bear Pass (between You Creek and Della Lake).
